For such a simple, inexpensive pan, it makes the greatest paella possible, and the size is just perfect for my wife and myself. I also have a 13-inch pan, but it makes way too much paella for the two of us.

Perfect size for the 2 portion Paella de Mariscos. The sticker on the pan advises boiling water in the pan before the first use. I discovered that this is to remove the manufacturer's protective coating which is not easy to remove. You need to add some apple cider vinegar to the water to do this more easily. Then I washed the pan thoroughly and it was ready to go.

This is a gift and hasn't been used yet. However, the recipient has another La Tienda paella pan in a different size, and loves it! So I'm sure this pan will be greatly enjoyed and will get lots of use.
