Agromar is a small cannery founded in 1948, and the very first product they produced was sea urchin caviar, which are plentiful along the rocky shores of Asturias in northern Spain. Their dedication to quality means each tin contains whole, delicious pieces of roe, prepared with care.

The name “Erizo del Mar” translates to “hedgehog of the sea,” a playful nod to the urchin’s spiny appearance. Sea urchin roe is cherished not only in Spain and Europe but also in Japan and Korea, where it is known as uni.
